“It may help to understand human affairs to know that most of the great triumphs and tragedies of history are caused, not by people being fundamentally good or fundamentally bad, but by people being fundamentally people.” —Terry Pratchett, Good Omens
If you were a piece of lab equipment, what would you be?
I like to think of my brain as a lab fridge. Cluttered, and definitely not the most organized, but hopefully, it still holds everything you put in it!
About Sneha (she/her)
Sneha was born in Peoria, Illinois. At the age of five, she and her family moved to Bangalore, India, where she lived for the next several years and attended high school. Her passion for chemistry was cultivated in part by high school chemistry courses, and largely by her fascination with depictions of forensic chemistry in mystery novels. She returned to the United States to pursue a B.S. in Chemistry at Gettysburg College, Pennsylvania. She’s excited to now be a part of the Jun Lab here at UIUC! Outside the lab, Sneha loves reading, baking, singing (badly) and doing word puzzles
