About Jiwon (she/her)
Jiwon was born in Seoul, South Korea, and received her B.Sc. in Chemistry from Ajou University, where she also completed an M.S. in Energy Systems Research. Her master’s work focused on developing redox mediators with enhanced resistance to reactive oxygen species for next-generation lithium–oxygen batteries. With a strong drive to learn and apply new concepts, she is deeply engaged in pursuing chemical biology research in the Jun Lab. Outside the lab, Jiwon enjoys exploring new films, discovering music, collecting perfumes, and trying out new sports.
